Online-only and open access, npj Climate and Atmospheric Science is dedicated to publishing high-quality papers on topics such as climate dynamics, climate variability, weather and climate prediction, climate change, weather extremes, air pollution, atmospheric chemistry including aerosols, the hydrological cycle and atmosphere–ocean and atmosphere–land interactions. A particular area of focus for the journal is studies of regional systems.
